Voltwing T-5
The VOLTWING T-5 is a PV carport system for trucks and buses with a raised entrance height and cantilevered design. It enables the roofing of large commercial vehicles and combines energy generation, shelter and prepared charging infrastructure in one solution.
Ihre AnsprechpartnerThe VOLTWING T-5 is part of the VOLTWING modular system and was specially developed for the roofing of truck and bus parking spaces. The design is based on the familiar system logic and is supplemented by a raised column that enables an entrance height of around 4.5 m. This makes the system suitable for commercial vehicles of different sizes and their requirements in daily operation.
With a roofing depth of around 5.3 m, the T-5 is designed for individual rows of parking spaces. In combination with variable lengths between 8 and 35 meters, the system can be adapted to different parking space layouts and flexibly integrated into existing areas.
The design follows the principle of cantilevered roofs, where the supporting structure is arranged outside the tracks. This creates free movement areas with high maneuvering comfort and reduced risk of collision – a decisive advantage when handling large vehicles.
Shading the vehicles provides an additional functional benefit. This can reduce the energy required for cooling or air conditioning, especially when vehicles are parked for long periods. At the same time, the available parking space is used to generate energy.
The system is designed for use with photovoltaics and can be combined with charging infrastructure.
