GRP clamp T M04
Consisting of deep-drawn upper part of plate, lower part of clamp, hexagon head screw M8 (length as required) and square nut M8
The bearing bars of the cast GRP gratings run in both directions at full height, resulting in an even, high load-bearing capacity. Due to technological requirements, the glass content of the gratings is max. 40 %.
Ihre AnsprechpartnerThe GRP gratings are manufactured using the so-called hand layup process with subsequent hot curing in molds. Cast GRP gratings are available with different matrix materials. Please refer to the overview of available resin matrix systems.
The so-called monolithic grid structure of the cast GRP gratings enables excellent resistance to various acids and alkalis. Please refer to our list of media resistance. There are various surfaces to choose from. Please also note our information on anti-slip properties.
GRP systems with various matrix systems
The various resin matrix systems can be modified to achieve special properties in terms of corrosion resistance, temperature and fire behavior.
Orthophthalic (OPR) – Polyester resin for mildly corrosive areas
– Resin quality: Polyester resin based on orthophthalic acid
– Fire-retardant, halogen-free (non-toxic)
– Self-extinguishing
– HDT(A): 80° C
– Dimensional stability according to Martens: 160° C
Isophthalic (IPR) standard – Polyester resin for universal use
– Resin quality: Polyester resin based on isophthalic acid
– Fire-retardant, halogen-free (non-toxic)
– Self-extinguishing
– HDT (A): 120° C
– Dimensional stability according to Martens: 160° C
Vinyl ester (VER) – Vinyl ester resin for extreme chemical resistance
– Resin quality: Vinyl ester resin
– Fire-retardant, halogen-free (non-toxic)
– Self-extinguishing
– HDT (A): 120° C
– Dimensional stability according to Martens: 180° C
Vinyl ester resin is used when improved temperature and chemical resistance as well as particularly high impact and fatigue strength are required. Vinyl ester resin is therefore ideally suited for quality gratings with high resistance for use under the most extreme conditions.
Phenol (PHR) – Phenolic resin for maximum fire safety
– Resin quality: phenol
– Fire-retardant, self-extinguishing
– Extremely low smoke emission
– HDT (A): 160° C
– Dimensional stability according to Martens: 180° C
Phenolic resin is characterized above all by its high temperature and fire resistance, low smoke development and toxicity of fire gases. When exposed to fire, the speed at which the flames spread is particularly low.
