This is the usual design, which is inexpensive to manufacture and suitable for different shelves with the same depth but different crossbars.

For this purpose, the T-profile edging, which is extended downwards, has a notch that is specially adapted to the width of the crossbar. The notch is made up to the height of the bearing bar, so that the bearing bars lie flush on the crossbar as a statically determining element.
