The walkway leads as a continuous path to the platform at the lighthouse and remains clearly recognizable as an open construction with railings on both sides.
GRP systems were installed in the form of GRP cast gratings with a sanded surface and fastening details with recessed stainless steel plates, used for floor coverings and walkways. The open structure supports non-slip walking zones and facilitates the drainage of water and dirt in outdoor areas. The result is a functional solution for long-term use in the mudflat environment.
