The accessible walkways are arranged on the outside of the working platforms of the steel/concrete structure and on the inside as a grating floor around the large drive and cable sheaves.
The gratings used are pressed gratings, non-galvanized, with a mesh size of 30 x 30 mm and 30 x 3 mm and 30 x 5 mm bearing bars, used for flooring and walkways. The open grating surfaces create safe tread zones and allow access for inspection and maintenance. This creates resilient walking areas for system operation.
