The surface is laid over a large area as a walk-on surface and runs along a secured opening with railing and impact protection pipe.
Pressed gratings with a mesh size of 50 x 25 mm and 120 x 10 mm bearing bars were used for safety and industrial areas as well as floor coverings and walkways. The open construction remains clearly visible in front of the exposed concrete wall with installations and supports access for maintenance and operation. This creates a load-bearing work zone along the edge of the shaft.
